Bombs… Fog… Shelter… The smell of mold that leaves stains in your memory and curls you up into a bony shell. To forget. We humans have this ability to forget. A perfectly useful way for a person to master life. A tunnel with no exit, with the only possible corridor leading you nowhere. Where to?

The Biennial of Contemporary Art – Plovdiv 2026 is the third edition of the international forum for visual arts, which will be presented in two exhibitions – at the gallery of the Union of Plovdiv Artists and in the bomb shelter on Bunardzhik Hill (next to the Commercial High School).
