In March 2024, a cooperation and partnership agreement was signed between Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski" and the Foundation "Art Over the Centuries" for educational processes in the field of arts at the Faculty of Education.

The Foundation "Art Over the Centuries" is a non-profit organization. Its primary mission is to foster and promote civil society in the fields of culture and the arts, as well as to encourage education in the sphere of visual arts.

Since 2022, the Foundation has been organizing the first international BIENNIAL OF CONTEMPORARY ART in Bulgaria.

The agreement signed between the two organizations focuses on strategic goals aimed at the development and expansion of the educational process in the arts at the Faculty of Education at Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski".

The Biennial of Contemporary Art – Plovdiv 2024 opens its doors and offers students the opportunity to participate for educational purposes in upcoming forums, exhibitions, and events at the Biennial of Contemporary Art – Plovdiv. Students will also have the chance to engage in the operational processes of the exhibition, attend training sessions, and meet renowned artists in the field of visual arts.

This joint initiative will provide practical knowledge of methodologies and management processes in the arts, insights into innovations, contemporary forms, curatorial work, and valuable connections with artists from Bulgaria and the international art scene.

The team at the Foundation "Art Over the Centuries" strongly believes that the exchange of best practices is the bridge that allows young artists in Bulgaria to smoothly transition from academic learning to practical experience.
