The Biennale of Contemporary Art – Plovdiv is an international forum for contemporary art, aimed at showcasing the trends in the development of visual arts in a globally changing world, the transforming boundaries, and cultural perceptions in the context of the messages of the new social order in which we all live today.

The exhibition will feature all genres and unconventional forms of visual art.

The Biennial of Contemporary Art – Plovdiv 2024 is organized by the "Art through the Centuries" Foundation, with the support of the Museum of Contemporary Art "Pavel Șușară" Bucharest, Romania, the Agricultural University – Plovdiv, the Elysium Cultural Center, Artistika Gallery, the Union of Bulgarian Artists – Sliven, and independent artists from Bulgaria, Europe, and the Middle East.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION:

1. The competition is open to all independent artists from both the country and abroad. Each artist may submit 2 works in the field of visual arts, created within the last two years.
2. There are no restrictions regarding styles, mediums, or thematic preferences.
3. The maximum recommended format is 200/100 cm.

   The deadline for submissions is from January 1, 2024, to February 28, 2024.
